Evidentiary scope
The first label places the plant в джидовом лесу по левому берегу р. Каскеленки при устье ее в пос. Илийском. (in a jida, or oleaster, wood on the left bank of the river Kaskelenka at its mouth, in the settlement of Iliysk), in September 1943; the second sheet repeats it in short. They give no use and no note on cultivation. Small determined the two sheets differently in 1975; neither determination is a record of where the plant grew. The plant grew in riverside woodland, outside cultivation. The accession is classified Feral, by inference from the labels; they do not say whether the plants descended from a crop. A single gathering does not establish a continuing population, and no conservation priority is assigned. An earlier version of this note classified the sheet as Other because a single gathering does not establish a landrace or a continuing population.

Read twice, independently, from the holder's image (3489 × 5252 pixels). The second sheet is MW0818729 (3559 × 5298 pixels).

- The second reading took устье ее on MW0818729 as через ее; the page takes MW0818728's label, on which both readings agree, as the text.
- A pencilled 1973 in the corner of each sheet is not used.
Georeferencing
No point is given. The labels place the gathering at the mouth of the Kaskelen in the settlement of Iliysk. The Russian Wikipedia's page on Konaev says that the Ili was dammed on 29 September 1969 and that the settlement went under the Kapchagay reservoir in the spring of 1970; neither it nor the English page gives the old settlement's position, and the river's mouth of 1943 is under the reservoir with it. The Kaskelen now ends in the reservoir at about 43.79, 77.14, which is where the river meets today's water and not the mouth of 1943. The herbarium's database publishes the point 43.864686, 77.165992 for the first sheet, with an uncertainty of 2 km; it lies on dry ground 6.9 km from the centre of Konaev, with no water within 3 km, and does not fit a river mouth, so it is not used. The province field takes Almaty Region, whose present seat, Konaev, is the town to which Iliysk was moved.
Editorial treatment
Two sheets, one accession. The sheets share the collector, the day and the place; MW0818729's label is a shortened copy of MW0818728's, without the number. MW0818728 is the infobox image; both are shown under Sheets.
Taxon. The infobox takes Pavlov's own determination, Cannabis ruderalis Janisch. Small's 1975 slips differ between the sheets and are reported per sheet in the article.
Collector. The collector and determiner fields take the catalogue's N. V. Pavlov. No source read for this page gives his full name, which is not linked. The Smirnov sheets of 1928 name an N. V. Pavlov as leader of the Dzhetysu expedition; the page does not say that it is the same man.
Source discrepancies
- The catalogue's point does not fit the label's place (see Georeferencing).
- The catalogue gives Small's 1975 determination for both sheets under the name Cannabis sativa L.; the slips give subsp. sativa var. spontanea on MW0818728 and subsp. sativa on MW0818729.
