Dating

Ratopati's page shows no date and says the arrest was "on Tuesday morning". The stored date, 27 October 2026, is the Tuesday of the week the story first appeared online, so the arrest may be earlier.

Route

"They came to Kathmandu from Thailand via Malaysia on a Batik Air flight" is Ratopati's own line and is not clearly the bureau's. No Thai city is named. "Thai ganja" is the label used by the outlet and the police, with no basis given.

Source detail

Ratopati's machine translation gives the officer's rank as "SSB" in one place and "SSP" in another.
