Discussion

Attribution

The flight and the origin are hedged in the article: "According to reports, the three suspects arrived at Katunayake Airport from Bangkok, Thailand, aboard Thai Airways flight TG-307". The article does not name who reported it.

Quantities

The article gives the weight, "5.96 kilograms of hashish", and values it at "approximately Rs. 51 million" without saying who valued it. The value is not stored as a quantity.

Place

The article places the arrests at Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake and does not name a district. The district stored, Gampaha District, is worked out from Katunayake, as on the earlier news items for the airport. Wikidata places the airport in Western Province and not in a district.

These notes were recorded when the news item was prepared. Éloise 21:01, 15 October 2026 (+07)
