Dating

The Himalayan Times, in an article published on 12 October 2026, says the arrest was "on Sunday night". The stored date, 11 October 2026, is worked out from that.

Source discrepancies

The article of 12 October 2026 says the man was carrying the marijuana "from Junglebo along the route from Tintale towards Siraha". The article of 13 October 2026 says only that the marijuana was being transported toward Siraha. The item follows the 12 October article.

Quantities

The 12 October headline, "Over 1,050 kg", and the 13 October figure of "a combined 1,209.84 kg" both add this seizure to others. This news item covers the 110 kg on its own.

The two articles cover three seizures by Udayapur police, each with its own news item: Chargare, Chaudandigadhi (12 October); Belaka (12 October).

Map pin

The article names Katari-6 near Saguri Bridge, a ward of Katari municipality with no point of its own. The pin is OpenStreetMap's point for Katari town, rounded to two decimals, and marks the municipality, not the bridge.

These notes were recorded when the news item was prepared. Éloise 23:35, 14 October 2026 (+07)
