Annapurna Post (Tuesday 20 Asoj 2083, 6 October 2026) says the marijuana was found "सोमबार" (Monday) at about 9 pm. Nagarik (article of 6 October 2026) gives "सोमबार राति ९ बजेतिर" (Monday night at about 9). The stored date is Monday 5 October.

The suspicion that the marijuana was stored to be taken to India is reported as the police's preliminary view in both Nepali reports: "प्रहरीको प्रारम्भिक अनुमान" in Annapurna Post and "प्रारम्भिक अनुसन्धानबाट" in Nagarik. This news item attributes it to the police.
