ionnews, the cited source, writes "dans la région de La-Gaulette" (in English: in the La-Gaulette area) and names no district or other administrative area. This news item gives La Gaulette and adds Black River as the district.

Category

The event could sit under Eradication. The headline reads "243 plantes de cannabis saisies sur un terrain abandonné" (in English: 243 cannabis plants seized on abandoned land) and the body speaks of "la découverte de 243 plantes de cannabis hautes de 5 à 55 cm" (in English: the discovery of 243 cannabis plants 5 to 55 cm tall). Neither says the plants were uprooted or destroyed, so this news item is filed under Enforcement and gives the count of 243 in its summary only.

These notes were written after this news item was published. Éloise 03:57, 7 October 2026 (+07)
