Quantities

Tripura Star News, the cited source, gives the value in words as "approximately to be eight lakh fifty thousand only". This news item gives it as 8.5 lakh rupees.

Place

The cited report carries the dateline "Sonamura, Tripura, 13th of September, 2026" and places the recovery at "NC Nagar border road side". It names no district. This news item gives Sepahijala as the district. A report of the same outlet on a recovery the night before prints the road as "Batadola, UNC Nagar border road side"; this news item follows the spelling in the report it cites.

Category

The event could sit under Trafficking. The report says the dry ganja was seized "as unclaimed", a find rather than an interception, so this news item is filed under Enforcement.

These notes were written after this news item was published. Éloise 03:57, 7 October 2026 (+07)
