Source discrepancies
Two reports of the same farms give different weights.
| Outlet | Published | Weight |
|---|---|---|
| New Telegraph (cited) | September 14, 2026 | "had an estimated yield of 5,674.17 kilogrammes of cannabis" |
| National Drug Law Enforcement Agency | Sep 13, 2026 | "destruction of 4,832.56 kilograms of skunk on cannabis farms" |
Both name Usen Forest, Igwe-Oke Forest and Ogboha Forest. This news item follows New Telegraph, the cited source, for the area: the report gives "a combined 2.269668 hectares" and this news item gives 2.27 hectares. It gives no weight figure of its own; its summary gives both weights and names the source of each.
Dating
New Telegraph, published September 14, 2026, quotes the Edo commander: "These farms were destroyed in the past two weeks." The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency release of Sep 13, 2026 gives one date, for the arrest of a 39-year-old suspect in Edo State: "was arrested on Friday 11th September". New Telegraph places that arrest at Ogboha Forest: "During the raid on the Ogboha Forest farm, operatives arrested a 39-year-old suspect". Neither source dates the other farm actions. This news item carries 11 September 2026, the date of the Ogboha arrest.
Map pin
New Telegraph gives the sites from the Edo command's statement:

- "The fifth farm, measuring 0.336646 hectares, was located at Ogboha Forest in Owan West LGA"
This news item names Edo State only and carries one map pin (6.61, 5.97) for the state as a whole.
