Ratopati's Nepali original (the cited source) and its English edition give different dates for the parcel check.
| Version | Text |
|---|---|
| English edition (machine-translated) | "On September 9, when the parcel, which was being sent to Itahari, was suspected and checked, 910 grams of marijuana from Thailand was found in the parcel." |
The Nepali text gives Bhadra 9 in the Nepali calendar. The English edition, published on 6 September 2026, gives September 9. The record cites the Nepali original and gives the date as Bhadra 9. It is dated to the arrest of two Indian nationals on "शुक्रबार" (Friday), which in an article published on 6 September 2026 is 4 September.
