Dating

The article was published on Thursday 29 January 2026 and says the destruction took place "on Thursday". The stored date is that day.

Quantities

The headline says "over 2 acres" and the Barbil officer says "around two to three acres". The stored 0.81 hectares is two acres converted at 0.404686 hectares to the acre, so it is a floor.

Map pin

This news item has no map pin. No gazetteer entry for Mankada Hatting could be matched with confidence, and the district headquarters would place the pin somewhere the event did not happen.

These notes were recorded when the news item was prepared. Éloise 18:55, 20 October 2026 (+07)
