Place
The shotlist names the filming locations as "Phnom Penh and New Island (just outside Phnom Penh)". The storyline places the island only as "Viewed from over the Mekong River" and "the short distance across the water", and does not name the province New Island belongs to. Phnom Penh, in the province field, is the city named in the shotlist, where the report's market scenes were filmed.
The same agency filmed police cutting down cannabis on Anlong Chen island, in Kandal Province, in December 1996. Whether New Island and Anlong Chen island are the same island is not settled by the sources read. Éloise 10:23, 21 October 2026 (+07)
