Sources
- The status is Active: the sources describe marijuana grown in the municipality after 2000, the latest in 2023–2024.
- The Ministry of Defence's eradication dataset lists, for Miranda with crop type marihuana: 11 rows, 18 August 2016 to 31 May 2019, 2.64 hectares (downloaded 20 October 2026). The figures on the page are sums of those rows.
- The 1968 farm is known from a police bulletin cited by Sáenz Rovner (2007, p. 220, note 46: Boletín Informativo Policivo, 1–15 June 1968). The March 2011 greenhouses are placed by the army in the same region as a cache found in a vereda between Miranda and Corinto; the dispatch does not name the vereda.
