Evidentiary scope
The label records the plant as cultivated and, where it says so, its uses. It is a single gathering and shows neither a continuing population nor a living germplasm holding, so it supports neither a landrace nor a feral classification. The accession is classified Other. No conservation priority is assigned.
Those three uses are the fullest statement of use in the series.
Georeferencing
The catalogue's place is a garden at Phnom Penh, which it does not locate further. The coordinate is the OpenStreetMap point for the city, 11.5730, 104.8578, under Tier A of the coordinate ruling of 18 September 2026.
Editorial treatment
The collector field holds the label's own form. The 1860 label reads Collect.: MARTIN Marie A. and the 1864 label Collect.: Marie Martin. The ethnobotanist Marie Alexandrine Martin worked in Laos and Cambodia in these years, but no source read for this page identifies her as this collector, and none is asserted here. Check it before a person page is linked.
The date is April 1973, a month before the Laotian sheets of the series, and Harvard gives it to the month only.
