Discussion

Why Mae Taeng is a growing area

  • Maxwell 97-797 and 97-798 (1997), a male and a female plant from one planting near Pah Dang (Red Lahu) village, Geut Chang subdistrict, "planted among corn" (GBIF record of 97-797 read; the 97-798 label is given on its accession page).
  • The status is Historical: the evidence is from 1997 and nothing since says either way.

Extent and border

  • The border is the whole of Mae Taeng District (OpenStreetMap), about 1,410 km². The stored point of both sheets falls inside it.
