Evidentiary scope
The label places the plant near the railway station of Lungtan in July 1936. It gives no habitat beyond that, no use and no note on cultivation. The accession is classified Other and no conservation priority is assigned.
Label reading
Read twice, independently, from the Chinese Virtual Herbarium's image of the sheet (PE 00578037, 996 × 1,440 pixels).

- Tag (printed): Coll. Liou Tchen-Ngo / No. 9208 (pencil).
- Determination slip (by hand): Canabis sativa L. / Det. T.P.Wang.
- KIANGSU province stamp; stamped number 421612; pencil 27.
The readings agree on the tag, the date, the number and the slip. The pencilled place is faint: one reading made out only fragments (Near, …tan, Kiangsu, each uncertain); the other read it in full on a closer look, as given.
Georeferencing
Lungtan is Longtan (龙潭), today a subdistrict of Qixia District, Nanjing (OpenStreetMap relation 12601508, about 104 km²), and the label places the plant near its railway station. The point 32.17, 119.05 is the middle of Longtan station's railway land in OpenStreetMap (way 851358507). Whether the station of 1936 stood at the same place was not checked. The label gives no altitude. The point stands for the station and its surroundings, not the spot where the plant was gathered. Basis: settlement point. Uncertainty: about 3 km.
Editorial treatment
The form. The form is of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, founded in 1949, so its pencilled entries were made later from the collecting data; the tag is the contemporary document, and it agrees on the collector and the number.
Collector. The collector field takes T. N. Liou, the label form of his name, as on Liou 1923 (1930) and Liou 3403 (1931); the tag gives the full form, Liou Tchen-Ngo. He is Liou Tchen-ngo (刘慎谔, 1897 or 1898 to 1975): the Harvard botanist index gives T. N. Liou as the label form of Liou, Tchen-ngo, with the dates 1898–1975; Wikidata and Chinese Wikipedia give 26 August 1897. The prose links Liou Tchen-ngo.
