Page scope
La negra covers the Colombian name la negra (negra, Silvia purple): a highland marijuana at Silvia, Cauca, in 1974, a variety in a 1976 Santa Marta thesis, a grade of the Sierra Nevada export trade, and later forum uses. The United States name for a dark Colombian marijuana is on Colombian Black.

Discussion
Where the sources differ
- Several things called black. Henman's la negra is a highland plant of Silvia, Cauca; the 1976 thesis's Negra is a seed lot used on the coast; Britto's negra is a grade, which Britto attributes to handling and growing conditions; forum posters use "La Negra" for southern Colombia and "black weed" for Caldas and the Llanos. The sources do not connect these.
- Colombian Black is kept on its own page: its sources are United States forums and a seller, and none of them names the Colombian uses here.
- The 1976 thesis does not say where its seed came from.
