Border

The border is a freehand trace, about 120 km², of the floodplain west of the Torsa from the Khairbari forest south to Deogaon. In October 2026 the line it shares with Jaldapara was moved west, so that the four Madarihat lots labelled Jaldapara fall in Jaldapara and the two traces no longer overlap. The page was a growing area until October 2026; it is now an appellation of the Alipurduar area, cut out of the block appellations around it.
