Evidentiary scope

The label places a cannabis plant on the Selenga floodplain in Khövsgöl in June 2007, with a point and an altitude. It gives no use and no note on cultivation. The accession is classified Other and no conservation priority is assigned.

Georeferencing

The point 49.4119, 101.9 is the label's own 49°24′43″ N, 101°54′00″ E (49.41194, 101.9), which the herbarium's database also publishes with an uncertainty of 500 m. SRTM gives 1,001 m there, 1 m from the label's 1,002 m, which supports it. OpenStreetMap places the point in Tarialan sum of Khövsgöl (relation 7305535), not in the Ikh-Uul sum the label names; the Ikh-Uul town (way 49202232, 49.4419, 101.4745) lies 31 km to the west. The Dzulegtiyn Gol was searched in Nominatim as Зүлэгтийн гол, Дзулэгтийн гол and Зулэгтийн гол without a result, so the label's distance up the Selenga cannot be checked against a river mouth. The province agrees with the label; the sum field keeps the label's. Basis: collection point from label. Uncertainty: about 500 m.

Collectors. The collector field takes the first name on the label, as the catalogue does, in the form R. V. Kamelin; the title follows it.
