Border
The border is the municipality of Ibagué (OpenStreetMap relation 1342108; DIVIPOLA code 73001), simplified, and meets the Tolima border and the neighbouring appellations; about 1,390 km². The point in the infobox is the centre of the border, not a field.
Sources
- The status is Active: marijuana was eradicated in the municipality from 2010 to 2020.
- The Ministry of Defence's eradication dataset lists, for Ibagué with crop type marihuana: 9 rows, 9 September 2010 to 14 January 2020, 11.17 hectares (downloaded 4 November 2026). The figures on the page are sums of those rows.
- The share of 14.2 per cent is from the University of Tolima bulletin (pp. 14, 16), which works from the same Ministry of Defence series for 2015–2020.
- The licensed growing is given as the press report states it: seven licences, four companies, four municipalities. It does not say how many were for Ibagué.
Not used
- Seizures of marijuana in Ibagué, among them 40 kg in 2020 that the authorities said came from Cauca or Valle del Cauca, are not evidence of growing; the Talk page of Tolima lists them.
