Colonial gazetteers
The Kulu volumes of the Kangra district gazetteers of 1897 (Diack) and 1917–18 describe the Parvati Valley and the stages of the Manikaran road; the stages they name include Jari, Manikaran and Pulga. Neither edition names Grahan.
