Border and status
The border is the Falakata community development block (OpenStreetMap relation 10360506), less the Jaldapara and Khairbari-Deogaon forest appellations, about 240 km². The 1911 tahsil of Falakata was far larger (the Jaldhaka to the Torsa); the modern block stands in for it. The page has no growing status: the seed lots collected in the block lie in the forest appellations, and the news items on this page are seizures, not cultivation.
