Border

The border is the Dhupguri community development block in OpenStreetMap (relation 10361975, less the Banarhat block). OpenStreetMap draws no Banarhat block, only the older Dhupguri block that holds both, so the line between them is a provisional trace: the old block split between places of Banarhat block's gram panchayats (Chamurchi, Banarhat, Binnaguri, Salbari, Sakoajhora I) and of Dhupguri block's (Dhupguri, Barogharia, Magurmari, Gadong). It should be replaced by the official block boundary when one is published. Dhupguri subdivision, formed in 2024, comprises the Dhupguri and Banarhat blocks.
