Evidentiary scope

The label places cannabis in the Khalkhin Gol valley at 720 to 750 m in July 1987, with no habitat. It gives no use and no note on cultivation. The determination as Cannabis ruderalis is the botanist's judgement from the specimen and is reported as such. A single gathering does not establish a landrace or a continuing population. The accession is classified Other and no conservation priority is assigned.

Georeferencing

The point 47.5, 119.1667 is the label's own 47°30′ N, 119°10′ E, which the herbarium's database also publishes (47.5, 119.166667). It falls in Khalkhgol sum, Dornod, 43 km east-south-east of the sum centre that the label calls Sümber (OpenStreetMap node 1478274074), which fits a place 35 km up the winding river. SRTM gives 748 m at the point, within the label's 720 to 750 m, which agrees with it. The label gives minutes only. Basis: collection point from label. Uncertainty: about 2 km.
