Polygon provenance
The boundary is a proposal, not yet in Module:Boundaries.
- Vertices: 39
- Area: 10.67 km²
- Centroid: 32.1122°N, 77.1912°E
- Bounding box: 32.091–32.129°N, 77.166–77.216°E
- Method: the catchment of the side stream that OpenStreetMap names Chakki Nal (upper course) and Chhaki Nal (lower course), above its confluence with the Beas north of Naggar; kept between 1,550 and 2,600 m; cut across the gorge at 77.1655°E and across the valley at the upper limit of settlement. Terrain from the SRTM-based AWS Terrain Tiles; the outline was checked against Esri World Imagery.
- It encloses Rumsu, Pulag, the hamlets around the Hallan accession point (Baltha, Charanag, Damadi, Raman) and all five accession coordinates. It leaves out Naggar town, Chhaki and Chajogi.
- Open for a field check: the south edge, which runs through forest below Pulag; the Pulag fields the collection documentation places "above 3000m"; and whether Naggar belongs inside, since the Zomia Collective's index lists it under Chanderkhani Valley.

Source discrepancies
The article gives the union of what the sources say, each detail attributed. Where they conflict:
- Collection year and date format. Accession pages:
collection_date"03/09/2023", "04/09/2023", "05/09/2023"; SMW stores these month-first (9 March, 9 April, 9 May 2023). Accession names end "2022";sample_harvest_date"2022" on all ten. Diary posts on Naggar and Rumsu are dated 4, 5 and 6 September 2022. Product page: "Sourcing: Eloise (2022)"; "sourced directly from the 2022 harvest". The article states both years and does not choose. - Feral or landrace. Accession pages:
classificationLandrace on 0001–0003, 0005–0007, 0009, 0010; Feral on 0004 and 0008. Product page: "Selected feral landrace" for the Rumsu Feral, Pulag Village, Pulag Feral, Hallan General Population and Hallan Village lots; "General population, domesticate landrace" for the Rumsu and Pulag General Population lots; "Selected domesticate landrace" for the Rumsu Village, Rumsu Upper and Pulag Upper lots. The article reports the accession pages' split and says whose it is. - Who collected the general populations. Product page: "Collected from plants throughout the valley by locals making charas in Rumsu" (the Rumsu lot, and also the Pulag lot, which names Rumsu) and "… in Hallan" (the Hallan lot). Accession pages:
collectorÉloïse on all ten. - Height. Accession pages: 1.5–3.0 m. Product page: "Height: 1.5-7 metres".
- Harvest. Accession pages (six of ten): September–December. Product page: "Regional Harvest: October to November".
- Elevation. Accession pages: 2,050 and 2,250 m (Rumsu), 2,200 and 2,500 m (Pulag), 2,275 m (Hallan); 0003/0004 share coordinates but give 2,250 and 2,050 m, and 0007/0008 share coordinates but give 2,500 and 2,200 m. Product page village profiles: Rumsu "(2100m)", Pulag "(2500m)", Hallan "(2100m)"; lot altitudes "1800-2500m", "2300-2500m", "2200-2300m", "2000-2200m".
- Administrative labels. Product page: "District: Naggar", "Region: Northwest India". Accession pages:
admin_3"Naggar Tehsil",admin_4"Naggar Block". Census 2011: all three villages in the Naggar community development block; Rumsu, Pulag and Hallan-I in Kullu tehsil, Muhal Hallan-II in Manali tehsil. The census's sub-districts for Kullu district are Kullu, Manali, Banjar, Sainj, Ani and Nermand; none is named Naggar. The article follows the census.

Editorial treatment
- Name and grouping follow the Zomia Collective's documentation ("Appellation: Chanderkhani"; "Village(s): Rumsu, Pulag & Hallan"). The title carries the
(appellation)suffix;other_names = Chanderkhani. - Hallan. The accessions give the bare locality "Hallan". The census lists two villages, "Hallan-I" and "Muhal Hallan-II"; which of them the Hallan accessions come from is not established. OpenStreetMap names no hamlet Hallan.
- Infobox elevation 1,800–2,500 m comes from the product page's lot altitudes; the accession sites span 2,050–2,500 m.
- Accessions table. No "Collected" column while SMW holds the month-first dates, and elevation is printed with
#-nwhile Property:Has elevation prints its whole synonym list as the unit. - Rumsu upper fields. The diary describes two upper fields, at 2,350 and 2,400 m; the accession pages hold one "Rumsu 'Upper' Selection".
admin_2 = Kullu District, since[[Kullu]]is the town; the other 22 Kullu-area appellations still storeKulluuntil a later edit moves them.- HIMA01 is linked as the expedition code the accessions carry. No HIMA01 field report has been written, and its title form (
ZomiaFR<N>or not) is open.

Update, 28 September 2026
- Boundary deployed. The polygon above went live in Module:Boundaries at rev 20355, with the Kullu Valley polygon and the Pini (appellation) key fix.
- Collection dates resolved. The ten accession pages now store collection dates of 2022-09-03 to 2022-09-05, which SMW reads as September 2022, so the year agrees with the diary and the accession names. The first source-discrepancy bullet stays as the record of what the pages said before.
- Administrative labels. The accession pages now give
admin_3 = Kullu Tehsil. - Hallan. The accessions' Hallan is the census's "Hallan-I" (012733). "Muhal Hallan-II" (012707) is a separate village in Manali tehsil; Hallan gives the evidence. This replaces the Hallan bullet under Editorial treatment.
- admin_2. The move to
Kullu Districtis live on the other 22 Kullu appellations (revs 20313 to 20334). - Accessions table. The "Collected" column is back now that the dates parse correctly. Elevation is still printed as a bare number while Property:Has elevation renders its old synonym string.
