Evidentiary scope

This page was split out of the combined Rasol page on 23 September 2026, per Éloïse's ruling that a collection and a reproduction of it are separate accessions (RULINGS_2026-09-23.md). It covers the retail seed sold under the name Rasol Village, by Khalifa Genetics and its resellers ACE Seeds and Mandala Seeds, and directly by Coco Genes, as distinct from the 2018 collection event itself, which is documented at Rasol General Population 2018.

It rests on Khalifa Genetics' own listing (live-fetched 18 September 2026; earliest archived capture 13 December 2019), ACE Seeds' Rasol Regular listing (live-fetched 18 September 2026), Mandala Seeds' Rasol Village listing (live-fetched 18 September 2026), an ICMag forum post reposting ACE Seeds' own listing text (archived 6 March 2023), and Coco Genes' own listing (archived 27 February 2021), cited here only for its differing product-spec figures. This session's own network cannot complete a TLS handshake with khalifagenetics.com and cannot reach khalifagenetics.com, aceseeds.org or shop.mandalaseeds.com live; that is a local failure of this machine, not evidence any site is down: all answered HTTP 200 to the original research fetches on 18 September 2026 (see the lane brief). Source discrepancies

Whether the retail seed is unprocessed first-generation collected seed or a Khalifa-processed P2. This is the discrepancy that motivated the split. It is recorded here in full, quoted and attributed, per Éloïse's instruction not to adjudicate it.
- Khalifa Genetics' own listing: "Our friend at Coco Genes collected the seeds directly at source. These are from the 2018 harvest." No further processing step is mentioned anywhere on the page. (khalifagenetics.com, Rasol Village, live-fetched 18 September 2026.)
- Mandala Seeds, also selling the Khalifa product: "Rasol Village regular seeds are 1st-generation seeds collected directly by Coco Genes at source." (shop.mandalaseeds.com, Rasol Village, live-fetched 18 September 2026.)
- ACE Seeds, also selling the Khalifa product: "Our friend at Coco Genes collected the seeds from the 2018 harvest directly at source. The Khalifa team then performed a controlled open pollination (indoors) in order to increase the sexual stability." Its own specification table separately labels the product "SATIVA LANDRACE STRAIN (P2)" and describes the "Genetics" as "Landrace strain (P2) open pollinated indoors to increase the sexual stability." - The same "controlled open pollination (indoors)... sexual stability" wording, word for word, was posted to the ICMag forum thread "Khalifa Genetics strains" (376027) on 3 August 2020 by the account "dubi", tagged "ACE Seeds Breeder" / "Vendor": in substance ACE Seeds' own listing text, reposted via ACE Seeds' own vendor account, rather than an independent witness. Éloïse's ruling (RULINGS_2026-09-23.md, 23 September 2026) settles that the collection and this retail seed are separate accessions; it does not settle which of these accounts of the retail seed's own processing is correct. The article states only what all accounts agree on, that the material traces to Coco Genes' 2018 collection at Rasol, and leaves the processing question open here. pollination_type and sourcing_type are both left blank on the main page for this reason: entering either "Open pollination"/"Point of Origin" or "Controlled pollination"/"Multi-generation reproduction" would silently pick a side.

Minor wording/figure differences not treated as part of the above. Coco Genes' own direct listing gives an open-ended flowering time ("14+ Weeks") against ACE's and Mandala's matching "11-15 weeks" indoor figure, and different aroma/effect wording ("Eucalyptus, Mint" / "Stimulating" against "minty, fruity, herbal, spicy" / "Joyful, euphoric, pain relieving"). Coco Genes' listing does not address the pollination question either way, so this is recorded as a separate, minor sourcing difference rather than folded into the P2 dispute above; see Editorial treatment for which figures were entered in the infobox.

Editorial treatment

Accession ID. COC-IND-HIM-0120180001-R1: the collection's own ID with the reproduction suffix, because Coco Genes is the named holder (seed_storage_location) for both pages, matching the same-holder reproduction-suffix rule (Naming_Convention_Reference_v1_1.md §8B). This does not assert that Coco Genes itself performed the disputed processing step; the accounts that describe one at all credit "the Khalifa team", not Coco Genes, the same reasoning already applied to COC-IND-HIM-0120200001-R1 ("the acronym names the holder, not an assertion about who ran the grow-out").
Descriptive name. 2018 COC Rasol Reproduction: the parent's own collection year (2018), not a later processing or sale year, since no source states one for Khalifa's step; then the holder acronym, the line, and "Reproduction", per the naming precedent (RSC-GRC-ARC-0120050001 = "2005 RSC Arcadian IBL", parent DEL-GRC-ARC-0120050001 = the 2005 collection; RSC-GRC-RET-0119900001 = "1990 RSC Cretan IBL"). This deliberately does not follow COC-IND-HIM-0120200001-R1's current name ("2021 COC Kalga Reproduction", the reproduction's own season rather than the parent's year); that page is being separately corrected to lead with 2020 for exactly this reason, per today's drafting brief.
Classification. Landrace, not Landrace IBL: even ACE Seeds, the source of the P2/controlled-pollination reading, calls this a "Landrace strain (P2)", not an inbred line, and no source anywhere in this evidence set uses "IBL" or "inbred". Follows the live precedent at RSC-AFG-KAN-0120190001-R1 and this batch's own COC-IND-HIM-0120200001-R1, both same-holder reproductions with no inbreeding claimed.
Pollination type, sourcing type. Both left blank; see Source discrepancies above.
Autochtonous. No, matching the treatment of COC-IND-HIM-0120200001-R1: this is retail seed marketed for cultivation away from Rasol village, not the in-situ population, regardless of which processing account is correct.
Collection date. 2018 harvest, carried over from the parent's own stated date, per the lineage-split rule that a reproduction's collection_date stays the original sampling date.
Sample harvest date. Left blank: unlike COC-IND-HIM-0120200001-R1 (explicitly "2021 season"), no source here states a year for Khalifa's own processing or for when any retail batch was prepared; only the underlying 2018 collection date is ever given.
Flowering time. 11–15 weeks, entered from ACE Seeds' and Mandala Seeds' matching indoor figures. Coco Genes' own, differently-worded "14+ Weeks" is recorded in prose (Botanical Characteristics) rather than overwriting the field or being averaged into it.

Aroma entered as "Minty, fruity, herbal, spicy", ACE Seeds' spec-table wording (Mandala Seeds gives the same four words in a different order, not treated as a substantive discrepancy). Effects entered as ACE Seeds' "Joyful, euphoric, pain relieving"; Mandala's "happy, euphoric, clear" is recorded in prose only.
Processing method. Charas, undisputed: Khalifa, ACE and Mandala all describe the same "Rasol cream" charas product; this is not part of the P2/first-generation conflict.
Cycle 1 harvest start/end. "Late September" / "Early November", from Khalifa Genetics' "the villagers harvest the plants" line. This describes Rasol village's own traditional harvest season as stated by the listing, not a claim about where or when Khalifa grew out the retail seed, which no source states.
Country / province / locality. Carried over from the collected population (India, Himachal Pradesh, Rasol) rather than any actual processing location, none of which is stated; matching how COC-IND-HIM-0120200001-R1 handles a reproduction grown away from the original site.
Collector. Left blank, matching the collection page: no individual is named for either the original collection or Khalifa's disputed processing step.
