Evidentiary scope
The label records the plant as cultivated among hill rice in hill evergreen forest. It was not in flower when picked. It gives no local name and no use. It is a single gathering. It shows neither a continuing population nor a living germplasm holding, so it supports neither a landrace nor a feral classification. The accession is classified Other. No conservation priority is assigned.
Georeferencing
The label gives its own coordinates, 98°48′ E and 18°54′ N, to the minute. The infobox stores them at 18.90, 98.80; a minute of arc is about 1.8 km here. The point stands at 1,030 m on SRTM against the label's 1,000 m. It reverse-geocodes to Mae Rim District, which the district field follows.
Entered under Tier S of the coordinate ruling of 18 September 2026, since the georeference is the collector's own.
Editorial treatment
The collector field uses J.-P. Boulanger, the catalogue's form of the label's J-P Boulanger. The locality field uses Watershed, the word Boulanger 1262's label writes in full; on this sheet the word is partly hidden by a leaf.
The DNA slip is reported as it reads; the study it names has not been traced.
Source discrepancies
- Meise's catalogue gives the locality as Mae Sa Walushed (Pan Lung). The label's word is partly hidden. The same collector's label on Boulanger 1262 writes Mae Sa Watershed. The locality field follows the latter.
