Characterises the essential oils of two Cannabis sativa cultivars grown at Komga in the Eastern Cape by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and assays their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity. The cultivars are Lifter and Cherrywine, commercial material rather than indigenous Eastern Cape landraces, so the study documents chemistry at a South African growing locality rather than of a traditional variety.
