The Associated Press of Pakistan reported that the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) seized 66 kg of hashish from a vehicle near the Motorway Toll Plaza in Rawalpindi on Friday 9 October 2026 and arrested a suspect. It was one of eight operations across the country in which the force reported arresting six suspects and seizing 91.24 kg of narcotics. Cases were registered under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act, 1997.
