Police recover 105 kg of marijuana from an ambulance abandoned in Siraha after it broke through barricades

OnlineKhabar reported that police in Siraha recovered 105 kg of marijuana in five sacks from an ambulance that had been travelling from Choharwa towards Jayanagar at around 8 pm on Tuesday 15 September 2026. According to police, a team under Police Inspector Sunil Chaurasiya was mobilised on a tip-off that marijuana had been loaded into the ambulance, and the driver broke through police barricades at three places before abandoning the vehicle on the Hulaki Road section in Siraha Municipality-1 and fleeing on foot. SP Basudev Pathak said the ambulance and the marijuana had been taken to the District Police Office, Siraha, for investigation.
