Sichuan procuratorate reports a cross-provincial cannabis cultivation and mail-order network run from rented rural sites

Jiajiang County People's Procuratorate in Sichuan published details of a case in which a defendant surnamed Xie cultivated cannabis at rented rural sites in Gansu and Sichuan and sold the product by post to buyers in Guangdong, Liaoning and Jilin. The procuratorate said 337 live plants were seized along with more than 5,300 g of unsold material, and that more than 5,100 g had already been sold. The offending period is given as January to October 2021.
