Three cannabis raids around Tukavesi, Cakaudrove

Officers from Tukavesi Police Station and the Police Special Response Unit conducted three raids in the Northern Division. The first discovered a farm in the Navonu Hills with more than 700 cannabis plants and led to the arrest of a 27-year-old farmer. The second raid at Lomalagi Farm in Dakuniba village seized close to 100 plants and resulted in the arrest of a 47-year-old man from Loa village. A third arrest followed at the Bagasau checkpoint in Tukavesi, where a 30-year-old man from Nadavaci village was found in possession of loose dried leaves believed to be cannabis.
