Evidentiary scope

The label gives the locality as On the road to Pathankote, Punjab and adds under remarks A small herb on the road sides, on 20 May 1878. The remark places the plant on the roadside, not in a field or a garden. The label gives no elevation, no local name, no preparation and no use. The accession is classified Feral, by inference from the label; the label does not say whether the roadside plants descended from cultivated stock nearby. A single gathering does not establish a continuing population, and no conservation priority is assigned.
