Evidentiary scope

The catalogue gives the locality as Ghasa, S. of Tukucha, Kali Gandaki valley and the habitat as Open grass hillside., at about 2,743 metres (9,000 feet on the label), on 6 July 1954. It records no cultivation, and no local variety name, preparation or use. The plant grew on a grass hillside, outside cultivation. The accession is classified Feral, by inference from the catalogue; the catalogue does not say whether the plants descended from a crop. A single gathering does not establish a continuing population, and no conservation priority is assigned.
