Evidentiary scope
The page rests on the RSC listing for Beldia, its archived versions of 4 August 2020, 14 July 2024 and 12 June 2025, and the Kwik Seeds listing of the same line. They establish that RSC created the line from seed collected in Ketama in the early 1990s and bred it for several generations without outcrossing, and they describe the plants it produces. Descriptive name
The descriptive name now leads with the year and the holder's acronym: 1990 RSC Ketama 'Beldia' IBL, where it read Ketama 'Beldia' 1990 IBL. A reproduction's descriptive name carries the year first and names the reproducer, and this is applied to every reproduction in this corpus.
The acronym is the holder's, the same code the accession ID carries. It does not assert who conducted the grow-out: these listings name nobody, and the rule was given for a line whose reproducer the listing does not state either.

USDA genebank accessions
The U.S. National Plant Germplasm System holds this seed as G 33756 (GRIN-Global entry) and G 33887 (GRIN-Global entry), received on 22 August 2023 and 25 July 2024 in donations from Angus. The infobox lists them as the same lot as this accession:
- GRIN's names, "Rif Mountain (Ketama)" and "Rif Mountain", are RSC's own product name for this line, "Beldia – Rif Mountain (Ketama)", and the donor notes on G 33756 that "This is the same batch of seeds as the ‘Rif Mountain’";
- the donor narrative, "Seeds from an ex-situ maintenance grow. Not collected directly at source in Morocco", agrees with the listing of the time, which said the heirloom had been inbred from a 1990s accession through several generations of intensive modern breeding work;
- RSC sells one Beldia line.
The entry's collector field is not used as evidence: GRIN enters Angus as collector on most accessions of his donations, including lines whose narratives name another collector or none. The donor's notes go further than the listing in two places. They say the breeding was done "by European cannabis breeders" before the donor obtained the line, where the article's lead says RSC created it; the listing of 2023 to mid-2025 does not say who bred it. And they say it "can’t be ruled out that it’s been crossed to Northern Lights or similar", where the listing since October 2025 says it is "Believed to be a pure Moroccan heirloom that has never been outcrossed".
