Evidentiary scope

The article rests on the RSC listing for Kerala, the Kwik Seeds listing of the same line and RSC's blog post "Idukki ‘Blue Dreadlocks’ Landrace Ganja – Kerala" (August 2023). Kwik Seeds is the shop RSC calls its other site (RSC, Hemp & Multipurpose). The listings date the collection in Idukki District to 2015 and name no village or farmer. The seed on sale is a third-generation ex situ reproduction. The history, the eradication explanation for early maturity and the ritual use are RSC's; they have not been checked against other sources, and the article attributes them. The THC and terpene figures are RSC's report of one plant, and no laboratory is named. No conservation priority has been entered. The listings name Idukki District and give a latitude of 9° N. The coordinate is the point OpenStreetMap's Nominatim gives for Idukki District (relation 1819274), which has no label node, rounded to two decimal places: 9.82, 77.00. Editorial treatment

• Accession ID. RSC-IND-KER-0120150001 takes KER from Kerala, a state entered without a suffix. The month digits are 01.
• Name and type. Kerala Reproduction 2015. The seed on sale is "the third generation from the original accession ... reproduced ex-situ through open pollination", entered as accession type Reproduction, sourcing type Multi-generation reproduction, pollination type Open pollination and autochtonous No.
• Collector. Angus, as on the other accessions RSC sourced itself.
• Local name. Neelachadayan, translated "Blue dreadlocks"; RSC also reports the reading "blue poison". The listing gives it as a name for this landrace, and the 2023 post as a name for high-grade Keralan ganja.
• Chemotype. THC-dominant, from the one tested plant (THC with no CBD) and RSC's statement that mid- to high-teens THC is not unusual for the variety.
• Terpene profile. From the 2019 versions, which report it for the same tested plant (see below).
• Height. 2 to 5 m, the fuller range (see below).
• Planting and harvest. June to July and December to early February, the regional pattern both listings describe. The early variants are reported in the article.
• Vocabulary mapping. "'Creeper' and 'Christmas-tree' architecture" is entered as growth patterns Christmas tree and Creeper, and "buds are loose" as flower structure Loose. "Bamboo-like leaflets" is not entered as a leaf shape.
• Not entered. Legal enforcement threats, because the listings speak of eradication pressure without dating it.
• Links. Haze, White Widow, Munishvaran and Australia are left unlinked.

Source discrepancies

• Generation. RSC: "the third generation from the original accession". Kwik Seeds: "the second generation", RSC's wording until January 2023.
• Genetics line. RSC: "Idukki Cannabis Landrace". Kwik Seeds: "Traditional Idukki Ganja Domesticate (“Landrace”)", RSC's line from April 2021 to January 2023.
• Regional harvest line. RSC: "Approx. 5 months from seed to harvest". Kwik Seeds: "December to early Feb", RSC's line until January 2023.
• Description. Kwik Seeds calls the line "a true tropical Sativa-type strain" and says the fast finish "appears to be the result" of eradication pressure; RSC now writes "domesticate" and "appears more likely". Kwik Seeds says "No CBD was exhibited, as expected"; RSC now says no CBD was present "in this individual, which is plausible".
• Only on RSC. The 2022 maintenance grow, Neelachadayan and the Australian grower's report.

The Wayback Machine holds 27 index entries for the RSC listing, from August 2019 to June 2026. One is a redirect; the other 26 are versions of the page, and all were read. All give the 2015 collection in Idukki District.

• Sourcing. "Personally collected at source in Idukki District" in August and October 2019, "collected at source" in December 2019 and then the current line, which read "Kerala, 2015" until February 2026. The article cites the version of 19 August 2019.
• Seed on sale. The second generation, "reproduced outside Kerala" in 2019, until January 2023; the third generation from June 2023. The 2022 maintenance grow is named from April 2024.
• Height. "2 – 5 metres" from August 2020 to January 2023, otherwise "2 – 4 metres". The article cites the versions of 5 August 2020 and 30 January 2023.
• Classification. "C. sativa subsp. indica var. indica" from August 2020 to February 2025. The article cites the versions of 5 August 2020 and 8 February 2025.
• Test result. The August and October 2019 versions add the terpenoids of the tested plant: "dominated by linalool, alpha-pinene, and humulene, with smaller amounts of myrcene and beta-pinene". The article cites the version of 19 August 2019.

The infobox image and six gallery images come from the RSC listing and from RSC's August 2023 blog post, and were uploaded under fair use at reduced resolution. The current listing gives its nine photographs no captions. The August and December 2019 versions (Wayback Machine) captioned copies of several of them, hosted on kwikseeds.com under the same file names:

• the infobox photograph is a wider view of the image captioned "Second-generation Kerala landrace collected by The Real Seed Company outdoors in Hawaii", and the first gallery image a wider view of another photograph with that caption;
• the plant on straw was captioned "Second-generation of the Kerala landrace collected by The Real Seed Company outdoors in Oregon";
• the flower against a white wall was captioned "Early Idukki landrace variant, Pacific Northwest USA, cut November 6th";
• the field photograph with a man standing among the plants, filed on the listing as "Kerala-Tungapan", was captioned "Kerala landrace strain, Idukki, 1983" (the kwikseeds.com copy has another file name and the same image).

The captions of these images give those places, with the year of the caption. The close view of foliage has no archived caption, so its caption says only what it shows. The gallery also shows the customer photograph from the 2023 post, which says the plant was grown from maintenance-grow seed of the 2015 accession.
