Evidentiary scope

The typed label gives the locality as Eastern: Nakhon Ratchasima, Pak Thong Chai, Wang Nam Khieo. (Wang Nam Khiao, Pak Thong Chai district, Nakhon Ratchasima), the altitude as 370 m and the date as 16 June 1968, and describes the plant as a Shrub 1 m tall, flowers yellowish. The collector is S. Phengnaren, under the number 483. The Paris duplicate carries the same label entries. Neither records cultivation, a local name or a use, so nothing shows whether the plant was cultivated, grew wild or had escaped. The accession is classified Unknown. No conservation priority is assigned.

Georeferencing

The label names Wang Nam Khiao (Wang Nam Khieo) in Pak Thong Chai. OpenStreetMap maps Wang Nam Khiao (node/13974357953) in Wang Nam Khiao District. The infobox georeferences it at 14.42, 101.86. It stands at 422 m on SRTM against the label's 370 m, a difference of 52 m. The point is a locality point, not a reconstructed collection point. It places the gathering to within about 5 km. The district field follows the present-day district; the label's Pak Thong Chai is quoted in the article.

Editorial treatment

The label's spelling Canabis is quoted as written. The collector and determiner fields use the label form S. Phengnaren.

The pencilled L, K, P reads as the Index Herbariorum codes of Leiden, Kew and Paris. Read that way, they name the herbaria that received duplicates. The Paris sheet is one of them. Only the letters are quoted in the article. The Paris sheet's own copy of the label carries the same letters in blue ink, L, K, P.

The infobox shows the Paris duplicate, P06884307, which the museum publishes under CC BY 4.0. A free image is preferred where one exists. Source discrepancies

• The label and the Paris duplicate give the date as 16 June 1968. The Forest Herbarium catalogue gives 16 July 1968. The date field follows the label.
