Sources

The page's sources on cannabis are press reports of police operations: the Fiji Sun (May 2020, August 2022, June 2026), FBC News (March 2026) and The Fiji Times (August 2026). They give the farms' locations, plant counts and, for the Qaranibali farm at Vusasivo, plants over four metres tall. None describes the seed, the variety grown or the plants beyond their number and height, and none reports a plant kept for a herbarium or a seed collection. FBC News reports that the Vusasivo plants were to be sent for analysis; no result is reported. GBIF holds no cannabis occurrence from Fiji.
