Evidentiary scope
Koelz's field label is headed Botanical collections in northwestern India and records Baijnath, Kangra, Punjab, an altitude of 3,000 feet, collection number 4612 and the date 22 May 1933. The sheet also carries a handwritten 5 ft. observation. The label supplies no habitat, cultivation status, common name or use. Neither the place nor the later determination by Ernest Small in 1975 says whether the plant was cultivated or spontaneous. The accession is classified Unknown. It does not establish a continuing population, and no conservation priority is assigned.
Georeferencing
The label records Baijnath, Kangra, Punjab. Kangra was transferred from Punjab to Himachal Pradesh in 1966, and current Himachal Pradesh government sources place Baijnath in Kangra District; the infobox therefore uses the present-day administrative hierarchy. The label names the settlement but not a collection point within it, so the coordinate is Baijnath's own point in OpenStreetMap (relation 9971207), 32.05, 76.67, used as a locality georeference rather than as a reconstructed collection point. One disagreement is recorded rather than resolved: Baijnath stands at about 1,172 m, some 258 m above the label's 3,000 feet. The label names the place outright, so the gap is read as its altitude estimate rather than as a different Baijnath. The label's 3,000 feet was converted to approximately 914 m for the infobox.

The sheet carries the name Cannabis sativa with an identification by E. H. Walker and a later determination by Ernest Small. E. H. Walker is left unexpanded because the sheet gives initials only and no verified source consulted here establishes the person's full identity.
