How the border is drawn
- Where this border meets the Western Himalayas border or the border of a neighbouring growing area, the two share one line, drawn once.
- The five accessions from Budhi lie about 100 m outside the line, on ground below its 2,840 m limit (SRTM gives 2,816 m at the point). Since October 2026 the border takes them in by a corridor about 800 m wide.
- The infobox point (30.011, 80.700) lay about 20 m outside the line. Since October 2026 the border takes in the ground within 400 m of it.
- The border leaves out the corridors that take the Sosa and Tanta accessions and the Darma Valley infobox point into Darma Valley.
