Border
The border is the part of the municipality of Fundación (OpenStreetMap relation 1314677; DIVIPOLA code 47288) that lies inside the border of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta growing area, which follows ground at or above 200 metres. It is simplified and covers about 740 km², 76% of the municipality; the town and the coastal plain lie outside. The point in the infobox is a point inside the border, not a field.

- The status is Active: the eradication dataset lists marijuana eradicated in the municipality from 2014 to 2020.
- The Ministry of Defence's eradication dataset lists, for Fundación with crop type marihuana: 5 rows, 15 August 2014 to 25 November 2020, 11.20 hectares (downloaded 20 October 2026). The figures on the page are sums of those rows.
- The Truth Commission testimony (interview 090-VI-00010, quoted in the Caribe volume, p. 86) places the speaker in the upper part of Fundación; the Ariguaní valley, where the speaker says most was grown, is named without a municipality. The dataset gives the municipality only.
- Not used: arrests for selling marijuana in Fundación in the early 1940s (Sáenz Rovner 2007, p. 211), which are not about growing.
