Santa Marta Colombian Gold 2009 is a seed accession of the cannabis line that the seed breeder Reeferman, of Reeferman Seeds, offered as Santa Marta Colombian Gold. Santa Marta Gold and Colombian Gold are trade names for marijuana grown in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. Reeferman wrote in March 2009 that his Santa Marta Colombian Golds "are true and really are the very best colombian genetics in the world today".[1]
History
In the same post Reeferman said that he held a large collection of Colombian cannabis and had sent a number of his Santa Marta Colombian Golds back to Colombia, in pure and in hybrid form. He wrote that seed he had shared before a stay in Spain in 2002 and 2003 had since spread among Spanish breeders, and that this was why he had just started to sell those lines himself.[1]
