Mokanshan General Population 1911 is a historical seed accession of Cannabis sativa that the United States Department of Agriculture received from Mokanshan (today's Moganshan), in Zhejiang, China, on 2 February 1911 and numbered plant introduction (PI) 29834.[1] No seed of the lot survives. The National Plant Germplasm System, whose database carries the department's introductions, says the accession "no longer exists and can not be requested".[1]
The lot
The department's printed inventory lists the lot as hemp from Mokanshan, procured from Robert J. Felgate and received on 2 February 1911.[2]
