Martin 1861 is a herbarium accession of Cannabis sativa collected in Laos in May 1973. The Economic Botany herbarium at Harvard holds two sheets of it, ECON 00449841 and ECON 00449842.[1][2] Neither record gives a locality.
Collection and locality
Both entries give the country as Laos, the date as May 1973 and the collector's number as 1861. Both leave the collector and the locality uncaptured.[1][2] No sheet of this number was found at the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle, which holds most of the other numbers of the series.[3]
Specimen and identification
Harvard files both sheets under Cannabis sativa subsp. indica (Lamarck) E. Small & Cronquist, each as a pressed sheet, with the accession numbers ECON 21569 and ECON 21570.[1][2] No image is published.[1]
