Kruger s.n., Stellenbosch is a herbarium accession of Cannabis sativa collected in Stellenbosch District in the Western Cape, South Africa, on 22 May 1968 by I. Kruger. The Compton Herbarium (NBG) holds two sheets, NBG1533362-0 and NBG1533365-0.[1]
Collection and locality
The Compton Herbarium holds two sheets of this gathering, and their locality strings differ slightly: NBG1533362-0 reads Stellenbosch Dist. Grown in Bot. Gardens. and NBG1533365-0 reads Stellenbosch Dist. Botanical Gardens. Both give the date as 22 May 1968. The first states that the plant was grown there.[1]
Specimen and identification
Both sheets are filed as Cannabis sativa L. var. sativa. NBG1533362-0 names C. M. Wilmot-Dear as determiner.[1]
