2024 HCG Punto Rojo 'Incense' Reproduction is a seed accession of the cannabis line that Hippie Cannabis Genetics (HCG) sells as Colombian "Incense" Punto Rojo. HCG credits the seed to Lugo Mez and the Zomia Collective: its description reads "Originally Sourced by Lugo Mez and The Zomia Collective" and calls the seed "1st generation from point of origin".^[1] Per the records of the Zomia Collective, which holds the source collection, the seed derives from ZOM-COL-QUIN-0120240001, a collection of Punto Rojo from Quindío, Colombia, recorded as collected on 15 January 2024.

History

The earliest dated mention of HCG's line found is a post of 14 September 2026 on the growers' forum Overgrow. In it the member PineSoulBuddy recommended HCG's Punto Rojo, available through its Instagram account, as "a true wild sativa" that flowers for 18 weeks or more.^[2]

Cultivation Details

HCG gives a flowering period of more than 20 weeks. It calls the plants easy to grow for anyone with enough time and space, but does not recommend the line to beginners because of the plants' size and flowering time. It says that its plants resisted heat and cold well and fed lightly to moderately.^[1]

Botanical Characteristics

HCG describes tall, wide plants with very narrow leaf sets at maturity.^[1]
