Fonnegra 1597 is a herbarium accession of Cannabis sativa, a male plant gathered at Piedras de Amolar, in La Guajira, Colombia, on 13 March 1980 by Ramiro Fonnegra. Five sheets of the gathering are held in the herbarium of the University of Antioquia (HUA) in Medellín, and a sixth at the Museu Botânico Municipal in Curitiba, Brazil.[1][2]
Collection and locality
The herbarium's catalogue gives the locality as Piedras de Amolar and the date as 13 March 1980, and enters the collector as Fonnegra R.[1] The catalogue files the sheets under the municipality of Albania, with the remark Se cambió municipio Maicao por Albania (Maicao was changed to Albania).[1] The Curitiba sheet gives only Guajira.[2]
