Migori Sativa 2020 is a seed accession of the cannabis line that East Africa Genes sells under the name Migori Sativa. The seller calls it a mild sativa that has been grown in Kenya for several decades, and offers it among the lines it calls landrace sativas.[1] The line has been on the seller's catalogue since its earliest archived version, of August 2020.[2]
Geography
History
Since 2020 the catalogue has said that farmers in western Kenya feed the line to bulls, mixed with napier grass, before bull fights, to make them fight harder.[2][1] In its 2023 advert the seller wrote that the line was first grown by the Luhya and the Kuria, and that the bull's owner wraps an ounce of it in corn husks.[3] It repeated the corn-husk account in 2024, putting the amount at about half an ounce.[4]
Cultivation Details
Aroma
The seller describes a dominant spicy taste followed by floral and sour notes.[3]
Effects
The seller says a few puffs bring euphoria and a stimulant effect that lasts up to 90 minutes.[3]
