Anon. 69 is a herbarium accession of Cannabis sativa collected in China in May 1930, at a place its label calls Chiu-shan-tou, with no collector named. The Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing holds the sheet as PE 00557911.

Collection and locality

The label is a Flora of China (中國植物) form completed by hand: the field number 69, the date 1930. 5, the locality Chiu-shan-tou and the flower colour green, with the collector's line left blank. A label of the Fan Memorial Institute of Biology's herbarium repeats the number, with the herbarium number 70874, and leaves the collector, place and date blank. The catalogue gives the number, the year 1930 and Hebei, with no collector.

Specimen and identification

The sheet carries a young flowering plant with its root, serrate palmate leaves and small flower clusters at the top. The form enters the family Cannabaceae and the name Cannabis sativa ?, with the question mark; the Fan Memorial label gives Canabis sativa Linn.
