Summary
"Group of plants in the spontaneous growth of bhang at Amritsar. 23rd April 1894." Plate in the Report of the Indian Hemp Drugs Commission, 1893–94, vol. I (Simla: Government Central Printing Office, 1894), with the imprint "Survey of India Offices, Calcutta, August 1894".
A stand of tall, loosely branched cannabis plants with narrow, divided leaves, photographed among trees. The date is the one printed in the plate's caption.
