EBC 99880 is an artefact catalogued in the Economic Botany Collection of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew: a textile from Vietnam that Kew names Natural indigo dyed hemp textile and files under the plant name Cannabis sativa.[1] Kew determines it as both Cannabis sativa and a species of Indigofera, the genus of the indigo plants. Its collector is recorded as Villagecraft Planet, which Kew's entry on GBIF gives with a street address in Hội An. The same entry says the textile was sourced from Hmong and Lolo groups in Cao Bằng under a livelihood project.[2] Caroline Cornish gave it to Kew in September 2017.
